Guitarist magazine have unveiled the G1 'Purple Special' in their latest issue (January 2008, issue 298). Featuring it as a double page spread 'First Play' in the Front End of the mag, the purple and gold colour scheme has been shown off to great effect thanks to some beautiful photography by Joby Sessions.

It's been a while since I've had a G1 reviewed, so it's mighty pleasing to receive such generous praise - calling the guitar a "gorgeous creation" and the special carbon fibre case a "thing of wonder" certainly goes some way to making the 400+ hours of labour seem worth while! They also commented on the playability as being "out of this world" and the mix of available tones "truly expansive".
